Who We Are
I'm Kevin Zhang, and I run PestSolutionsGuide.com alongside my wife, Liz. We're a Chinese immigrant couple who've made Florida our home, and if you've ever lived here, you already know what that means for pest control. Palmetto bugs in the kitchen. Fire ants in the yard. Roof rats in the attic. Armadillos are tearing up the garden. It's a lot.
When we first moved here, I didn't have a go-to resource I could actually trust. Most of what I found online was either too vague, too alarmist, or clearly written to sell something. So I started doing my own research, digging into university extension publications, cross-referencing product claims, and documenting what actually worked in our own home. That personal research journal became PestSolutionsGuide.com in 2021, and it's been growing ever since.
Today, our site helps homeowners across the United States deal with pests from the bedroom to the backyard using methods that are genuinely effective, humane, and safe for families and the environment.

Why I Think Differently
I have years of hands-on experience living in subtropical Florida, one of the hardest places in the country to deal with pests. This experience shapes everything I write. I don't sensationalize or exaggerate risks to get clicks. I provide the same clear advice I would give to a neighbor on their front porch.
